“Plurality is the condition of human action because we are all the same, that is, human, in such a way that nobody is ever the same as anyone else who ever lived, lives, or will live.” – Hannah Arendt

Speak. Listen. Dialogue.

A Public Laboratory for Theatre and Performance Research on the Aesthetic and the Political.

Starting in Spring 2020, The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center will take on a public laboratory to plan and implement a series of events taking place in public parks across New York City. Join us for the founding of our three-year cultural initiative promoting active participation in our democratic process through meaningful discussions on social awareness and free speech. All theatre practitioners, musicians, artists, thinkers, and citizens interested in contributing their ideas, insights, and collaborative support are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
